Unitrunker version 2?

Trunking Recorder claims that it "Supports Unitrunker version 1 and 2."

I cannot find any information about Unitrunker version 2. What is it? Is it in secret beta testing or something? Any info is appreciated.

I hope version 2 will run on a Linux on a Raspberry Pi with no GUI. Pairing a RTL dongle and Raspberry Pi has been kind of a pain thus far.
