So let me get this right.

The "Olympia" Motor Escort is based out of King County, and not Thurston County like the name would suggest?

And when I think of "motor escort" being squaked on a radio, I'm thinking the escort of an officer who passed away.

Maybe this was for a retired officer who passed away and had been buried at Mt. Tahoma Cemetary for a previous career in the military?????

I don't see what the big deal is here, the OP is is asking for a frequency, but you two see something to ridicule here, your point is pointless, he is just asking a qustion.

No, I didn't mean to ridicule anyone.

Apologies if it came off that way. I just didn't understand why someone would want to listen to people conducting a funeral escort.

I thought it was a valid question on here when it was born out of curiosity. If that's not the case, I'm sorry, and I'll refrain from asking any questions on here in the future.

Just the same, I highly doubt there is any frequency that these guys operate on a radio system.

They likely are using an intercom system, like StarCom1:

TheRange

The range on this is such, that you would not need an antenna and/or repeater.

Again, sorry for any hurt feelings, I meant no harm.

Check out their website pic here- http://www.olympicmotorescort.com/2009/DSCF7246_310_T.jpg

Speaker mikes in evidence.

No FCC listings under the company name, the principal's names, nor their other company, "Bonney Lake Dispatch".

Probably some itinerant like MURS, GMRS, or such.

It seems that someone is going to have to die to get that frequency.

Yea, I saw that too, but that very well could be for show.

Also, I seem to recall a newer product out that simulated a hand mic that attaches to handheld scanners. (Pretty sure I received an email from ScannerMaster about this.) And I would say it's just as likely that these guys monitor freq's so that they know if a code response is headed into, or down their path of escort.

For their purposes, I would really think the intercom system is better suited, since it has noise cancelling abilities.

But hey, I could be flat wrong too.

The closest I can come up with is a plan for "Washington Motor Escort", but it's around 10 years old, if memory serves:

461.0750 (107.2) F-1 "Ops-1" (repeated)
461.0750 (107.2) F-2 "Ops-1S" (simplex)
466.5875 (107.2) F-3 "Ops 2" (simplex)
466.8375 (107.2) F-4 "Ops-3" (simplex)
464.8500 (107.2) F-5 "Ops-4" (simplex)

Where is the link for this "Bonney Lake Dispatch" you're speaking of?

Simple. WSDOL, upon searching for "Olympic Motor Escort" returns with a license for:
Entity Name: OLYMPIC MOTOR ESCORT LLC
Firm Name: OLYMPIC MOTOR PATROL
Registered Trade Names:
OLYMPIC MOTOR ESCORT, LLC
OLYMPIC MOTOR PATROL

with a Governing Person of "Dave Eady".

DOL will return two listings for Dave, one for the above company, and one where he's a Governing Person for:

Entity Name: BONNEY LAKE ESCORT
Firm Name: BONNEY LAKE ESCORT/W.S.E.
Registered Trade Names:
BONNEY LAKE EMERGENCY ESCORT DISPATCH

Currently exchanging emails with Mr. Eady. Of course he wanted to know why anyone would care to know what radios/system they use.

Anyway, he is going to check with a few people and get back to me.
