Default Kittitas County New Frequency?

Can anyone confirm if sheriff is being dispatched on 155.5575 instead of 155.655? I am assuming 155.5575 will be their new frequency once January 1, 2013 hits? Any idea on what fire will do? Thanks!

Actually we are "mulitcasting".
Simulcasting is several transmitters on the same freq.
Yes, the two channels are transmitting the same traffic.
The new freq transmitter(s) are already narrowband.
The old freq transmitters will be narrow banded once the radio fleet gets programmed.
The existing freq is five site simulcast.
The new freq will also be five site simulcast.
Once the fleet of subscriber radios gets reprogrammed, there will be two Law channels.
The users still have not decided what to call them.
And nearly all the time the systems will be tied together, or used as a Car to Car option in addition to TAC.
There just isn't enuf money ( or need most of the time ) for two separately dispatched channels.
A similar thing will be happening on Fire soon also.

At Kittcom will be installing two new repeater systems hopefully in the next two weeks they will be Law Alt and Fire Ops.
Law main stays the same.
Fire Main becomes Fire Page and its old input goes to the new Fire Ops. Input. Fire Page gets a new input.
Law Alt uses two new freqs.
90% of traffic you want to hear will still be on 155.655 and 154.205.
Tac 1 will get a new input, output will be stay same.
All five systems will be 5 site TX simulcast, and at least 5 voted rx.
There are 3 other RX's added to the voter, and may be a couple added.
