Seattle-King County Public Safety Trunking System, Seattle, Washington - Scanner Frequencies

Shoreline WA Police Department Website

Services are contracted through the King County Sheriff's Office, but officers are dedicated to Shoreline, wear Shoreline uniforms and drive Shoreline patrol cars. Shoreline's Police Chief Shawn Ledford is part of the City's Leadership Team.

On the King County system try talkgroups 23344 King County Northwest
23152 King County North, someimes they are patched together.

Shoreline units are Adam units, Shoreline traffic cars are Sam.

Okay cool. I've noticed that King County is often Seattle PD, and I was looking for Shoreline more specifically. The regional talk groups sound like a good idea. Thank you.

Got it. 23152 sounds like the talkgroup for Shoreline. 23344 I'm listening to as well. Talkgroups finally make sense.

Something that's odd though is that sometimes the 396XT is able to jump right in and start listening, but often times it's having trouble finding the control channel.

Everything was downloaded from RR via Freescan and then sent right over the scanner. It works, but sometimes has trouble connecting.

Listening in to the various control channels, the signal itself is hit or miss. When I do get a signal, it's very strong.
