Default Hpd?

wat's "HPD" mean? i hear it all the time on my scanner. both bellevue and seattle police talk about HPD. i can't find out wat it means tho on any of the police dictionary website thingys. anyone know wat "HPD" is?

i don't think it's a police department.

HPD= Is a fancy way of saying the suspect,subject is drunk, or probably drunk..

I think the term is short for highly probable drunk or something along those lines.

You may also hear AOB - alcohol on breath.

Another one you might here .. "ETOH on board" . Mostly used by paramedics to indicate the patient "HBD"

I'm sure glad to hear the explanations. all the PD and SO in san diego county use it. I figured it was something about drinking. Thx
