Default Who's tracking the 380mhz military systems in the Seattle area?

I'm doing a lot of monitoring these systems in the Washington, D.C. area. Recently two previous unidentified control channels began broadcasting system IDs. 0010h-0202 and 0010h-0303 These fit in with the rest of the systems around here. But what is odd is that alternatively to the number ID, they display "Kitsap County". The 010-0303 system seems to be TXing from my county, Loudoun, yet there are no military facilities here and no apparent govt radio towers in the area it is strongest.

I'm wondering how, if at all, these tie into the systems out there. From what I've found all the 14C-#### systems are Dept of the Navy / Marine Corps. Those with 00#-0#0# have all been Army.

I've logged a few talkgroups- 1611, 1621 and 5465. When I've been around to hear them, they are encrypted. Anyone log these TGs on the systems out there?

If you would like to see what I have compiled on all these 380mhz systems plus some other military systems, check out this pdf I create from a spreadsheet. It gets updated every few days and needs a few changes right now.

Howdy. That's a super listing!

Nothing at all yet on the 385/386 MHz system in Southern California other than the control channels transmitting all the time w/o any radio traffic.

As for the gov't TRSs up there, I happened to get ahold of a surplus GE M-RK UHF trunked radio that traced back to a system up there. I tested it, and the comm comes through in the clear.

sometimes with the ones here, you catch a dispatcher or unit/person/whatever with encryption off.

Kind of ironic how this system http://www.radioreference.com/module...me=RR&sid=2262
has an ID of 0010, same ID as the one here in VA that also shows "Kitsap County" as an ID.

I live on the Bangor base and have been monitoring the digital system as well. Although the encrypted talkgroups dont come through, the unencrypted stuff comes through loud and clear. Anyone using Pro96Comm?

Which site is the strongest? And what other sites can you receive? Providing just the control channels will be find.

I am located in Bainbridge island Washington: Could someone please tell me what base or bases these sites are :

385.0625.
385.3125
386.0750
386.1250
386.3625

I have no problem picking up these on my Pro2006. Of course that radio can't do anything with these frequencies .

That's what I'm trying to figure out. All of those freqs except 386.3625 are in the database.
http://www.radioreference.com/module...me=RR&sid=3856

People need to coordinate to figure out where each is the strongest. Of course having a 396/996 helps a lot too. I can't help, I'm 2300 miles away.

This is what I've put together so far, relating sites to installations. Plenty of installations to associate sites with. I imagine there are also sites located in between for coverage.

There should also be one near Fort Lewis/McChord AFB; Lewis migrated to the 380 system awhile back.
