lightning/explosion?

So did any one else in berkeley county (spring mills/falling water area) hear what seemed to be a explosion or a single REALLY loud strike of lightning this morning at approx 0830 hrs. Today 12-10-2012

Was dispatched about at 1021. Around 413 Hallmark Drive off Rock Drive. Fire units found nothing and stated it was probably lightning.

Thanks Mike for the response. I was just curious and couldn't find nothing on it no where. But people in martinsburg heard all the way to about the 7-11 in falling waters. I wasn't able to have the scanner on at the time. I thought it was closer to 0830-0900hrs but I'm sure I could always be wrong.

Sure thing. I have 4 Uniden digital scanners and 1 analog Uniden running and recording 24/7 just for Berkeley Co. I like being able to go back and find out what happened if I missed it.

One day soon i hope to get a digital portable. Till then i have it on the computer and on my cell phone. And ya that is a nice ability to have.
