Default Cabell County SIRN progress?

Are there plans to add any channels for Cabell County law enforcement? I know Huntington PD is to use two channels, but one night while I heard radio tests I heard them go to "tac 3" or something along those lines,so I'm not sure if Huntington is adding an extra channel, or if the new one is going to be for Cabell County Sheriff, Barboursville PD, or the like.

Default Wvirp/sirn

Keep in mind the following:

All counties in WV on the WVIRP/SIRN already have the talkgroup plan assigned to them.
So the answer to your question is yes.
Each county /city (public safety: police, fire, ems) have dispatch, private and tac talkgroups already allocated/assigned by the board of governance.

Its just a matter of when the agencies use them and when someone in scannerland hears them.
Also don't be surprised if you discover an agencies private talkgroup is encrypted either.

Also don't be surprised if a particular agency has one or more tac channels programmed in their radio that aren't on the trunked system. Heck, they don't even have to be on 450 mhz [depending upon what radios they are using]. I'm aware of at least one fire agency on SIRN that has some conventional TAC [and other] channels in their radios, along with their SIRN talkgroups.
