Default EPCOR Edmonton

Anyone know where I could listen to EPCOR's communications or what they are using?

Sure would be handy to know what is going on while sitting at home in the dark.

Did you try checking through the trunked systems in Edmonton & area?
Database is wonderful, only it could be labeled under something different than it is.

Epcor been on MIKE for years now. I have heard the odd transmission on the old UHF system lately by the security staff.

Talk of eventually going on the provincial system when it arrives, not confirmed.
If you were sitting in the dark lately, try monitoring Fortis Alberta radio system. They look after power in the rural districts. On the weekend TransAlta and others were rolling black-outs due to high loads on the grid east of Edmonton, dam refineries!!!
