This town I have just moved to has a municipal police department but I don't see any tg info on the database for them. I have serched 139 mhz to 160 mz and have found nothing. Would any members in tobyland have any info

Are you sure that they are local police or private security firm doing by- law enforcement? If it is they are on Fleetnet trunked

Scroll down to Radio Frequency Search then click on Licensee search and type in the Town of Winkler.

That would be good if the Police forces actually listed there frequencies in the government's database.

Fire and ambulance may be there, but it's a no go for any policing.

Sometimes they do. Found this one using the License search for town of Morden. Morden is a town just West of Winkler

As far as I know Morden does not even have a municipal police agency anymore. but I could be wrong on that as well.

If you have a Trunk Tracking scanner you might want to punch in this tg 24112 for Prairie Bylaw Enforcement. They are the Security Cops that have contracts around the province to enforce local by-laws for towns.

Even though that link is for last year, they are indeed very active around the province doing their bylaw enforcement & more stuff.
