what info do you have to have to enter Mototrbo system into Whistler TRX2 Scanner is it just the frequency or do you have to have other info for it to decode it.

Just enter the frequency as a trunked radio system and add wildcards for TG and ID.
Then it's easy to edit the TGs with name tags when you save them from the wildcard findings.

Ubbe's method will work as described.

If you only have one frequency, you can also create a conventional object that is set to DMR just to see what is on the frequency. It is a faster process than creating a full trunk system and may be all you need and helps in the analysis process.

It really depends on what type of DMR system you are looking at.
