Default Connecting to a soundcard

Along with the USB article, we also have an article with guidelines as to how to connect a scanner to a soundcard - very important for recording audio...

Like the USB article, any Vista or Windows 7(assuming you don't violate a NDA) tips would be greatly appreciated. It's a good idea to get a leg up on this, since Windows 7 (last I heard anyway) was coming out this summer sometime 73 Mike
