Default where do these belong?

I've got 2 orphans that appear to be articles researching LTR business systems. To which state do these belong?

Southland Racing Corporation
http://wiki.radioreference.com/index...ng_Corporation

Hino Motor Manufacturing USA, Inc.
http://wiki.radioreference.com/index...ing_USA%2C_Inc

73 and thanx...Mike

Don't know who orphaned them but the first is located at
Scanner Frequencies: Southland Racing Corporation Trunking System, West Memphis, Arkansas

Hino Motors is HQ in Farmington Hills MI and has plants in Wood Co WV, Marion Co AR and San Bernardino Co CA. No LTR systems were found in RR Database for any of these locations.

Mike,

I am not sure why you left the Southland Racing Corp stuff there. It doesn't belong on the Wiki, that is DB information (except for the first unknown). User Gray6077 made the mistake of adding this to the collaboration page instead of submitting the data to the DB. The same applies to the Hino (although your link doesn't lead to the page). Neither of these pages should be existing in the Wiki at all.

Indeed this brings up an unexpected problem with the collaboration scheme, that is folks will think that doing their own thing in the wiki replaces the DB submission route.

Yeah, that is the danger. Unfortunately no matter how much I stress it, folks think that the wiki is replacing the database - and it's not.

I'll probably end up sending the ones with data to the DBA (which should have been done in the first place). If someone can supply the freqs for the Hino company to the database, I can send the talkgroups and get those added as well.

[edit] I see someone has built a db entry for Hino as well. Both wiki article's data have been submitted; once the identified talkgroups have been added, I'll edit both and use the extensions, leaving the unidentified talkgroups (which are legitimate to have on the wiki) in place

Mike,

I found Hino and I went and updated both of the TRSs in the DB.

Since both of those Wiki Pages contain unidentified TG's I did not put them in the DB; however, I am going to edit both Wiki pages to reflect an Unidentified TG area. Seems like that may be a good use for the collaberation page on these small TRSs.

It appears as if we both found, and both had the idea for editing the pages at the same time.

I changed what you did, but am willing to go back some to what you had. First see what you think of what I did.

I think it's a little more convienient to a potential user to be able to see the identified stuff right on the page, rather than having to bounce back and forth between the database page and back to the wiki again. Besides that's what the extension are, in part, for. The layout however is fine.

I was interrupted earlier, so I didn't have a chance to put the refresh links onto the pages so that as updates are applied, a simple click on a link will refresh the db entries. I'll revert them and add the links at the bottom as I was supposed to.

I agree about seeing the data on one page, but don't revert them; I will be glad to copy the stuff you site/TG links you had your version previously. I still think a link back to the DB is necessary (for submissions if nothing else).

I've already reinstalled the extensions - if you want to add a link back to the DB, feel free - I gotta get back to work 73 Mike
