I am seeing radio IDs with both my 996XT and 396XT.

Default Radio IDs

My BCD996T and PSR-600 also show radio ids of 0 for WisCom and Washington County;for me, it is not worth the price of a new digital scanner just to receive radio IDs.

The next new digital scanner for $500.00 and up will have to give me a lot more before I purchase one. Until that happens, I will keep using what I have as long as they work.

Default B0A vs B0C

I just recently relocated from Appleton to Milwaukee to go back to college. One thing I've noticed about the WISCOM sites down here is that they have a system ID of B0A. In the Fox Valley area they all had a system ID of B0C. Are there multiple systems or did this change while I was moving?

The scanner I have is a Pro-106 with Software App Verson 2.0, DSP App Verson 1.4, and DSP Voc Version 1.0

Default Washington County TG On WISCOM

Hello All,

Just a quick question and maybe I should of read farther back on the fourm but is the Washington County TG (57910) a simulcast of the Washington County P25 system or just VHF? Thanks for any help.

Mitchell

It is simulcast of the P25 system. Public safety moved to P25 and a majority (if not all) VHF Channels are no longer used except for paging

I'm hearing a TG 21010 off the Blue Mounds tower but don't know who it is. Anyone know? My guess is Iowa County.

Thanks Box23.

Now, how about TG 110 and 118. I just started hearing talk on both this morning. TG 110 might be Rock County or State Patrol. TG 118 might be City of Madison parking enforcement.

Default PSR500 and WISCOM?

I've been following this thread for a long time now... Sounds like things are coming up here, so as I'll be traveling across Wisconsin, I'd like to set up my PSR500.

Can anyone confirm the PSR500 works on WISCOM? I can just hear one of the sites from where I am but it won't decode, which is why I ask...

TIA!

Yes the PSR-500 will work great on the WISCOM system. Depending on were you are you might be able to pick up a county scan talk group, but other wise you will not hear much activity yet.

Just make sure you have the right Control Channels, and you only need the control channels.

Seems like the scan talkgroups are not being broadcast statewide anymore. I haven't heard anything for quite some time now.

I heard everything as usual yesterday until about 7-8 last night. I stopped hearing the scan talkgroups, and now today on the way in to work I never heard anything on WISCOM.

Kinda got used to hearing Washington and Dodge almost continuously. Kinda eerily quiet now.

By the way, has anyone heard any game wardens yet? I was told they were supposed to transition to the system around this part of the month. Still not sure what that means as far as how they will operate. Only two scenarios I can come up with is either a statewide dispatch talkgroup for them, or just a few tactical talkgroups.

Default Site 15 Racine County

I heard testing on WISCOM Union Grove between dispatch and squads on TGIDs 21 and 22. TGID 22 was called Tac 22. This was around noon today.
