I know you referenced a PL for 151.1225 and I am not sure how that would work. When I enter 151,1225 in my scanner it changes to 151.1200.

i have 2 old scanners Radio Shack handheld Pro-23 and Base Realistic Pro-2021
Also believe the SO went P25 full time that's the "static" you hear.

Waushara County main SO dispatch freq has not changed. The other poster was correct, they have gone totally conventional P25 digital on that freq, The two new freqs are both analog... one is a second Sheriff's freq the other is a dedicated County Fire freq. The Sheriff's freq and EMS are new voting repeater systems instead of 3 dedicated separate repeaters...

Default Waushara

Please elaborate...
There are TWO new freqs?
Do you mean 151.1225 and 154.2200?
Which is the second SO freq, and which is the new Fire freq?

Here's what I have:

Waushara County Sheriff (WSSO):
155.13000 Dispatch (NAC 787)
154.99500 Portable Repeater (TONE ???)
154.80000 Jail (PL 110.9)
159.21000 Work Release Center (DPL 025)

Waushara County Fire/EMS:
154.05500 Paging (PL 114.8)
154.17500 Fire Dispatch (PL 114.8)
154.01000 Fireground (PL 114.8)
155.86500 EMS Ops (PL 114.8)

Waushara County New/Unknown:
151.12250 unknown (PL 186.2)
154.22000 unknown (TONE ???)

Some issues with their new system I see in the public safety minutes :
Quote:
The new radio system is up and running. There were some issues which both Northway and Motorola
responded to in a timely manner. One issue – a firmware update was needed for the radios, and during this
process it was found that approximately 60 radios throughout the County will not flash to 16, which is what
is required. The radios will need new board upgrades or will have to be replaced completely. He and Sheriff
Peterson are working with Motorola on the issue. Sheriff Peterson indicated that when the system was
purchased, as vendors, Motorola and Northway were aware of the radios in the County and felt they were all
upgradeable, and it is up to them to make sure all radios are in working order with the narrow band system.
All Sheriff’s Office radios are working; however there are issues with Emergency Management, EMS and
Fire Department portables. Tom Marini questioned how to tell if the radios will work or not, and he was
advised Northway would be able to tell. Sheriff Peterson advised nothing had been signed off on, and
problems will need to be resolved prior to that.

Greetings...

I would rather see another feed put up just for Wausau PD versus removing Marathon County from this feed. Or better yet, maybe have a split feed consisting of Marathon County Law Enforcement feed and Marathon County Fire Departments Feed. Just my $.02 worth..

Had a Racine/Kenosha Co Fire feed up earlier but shut it down due to scanner issues. Will be hosting another one for Racine/Kenosha Co around the summer time with a different scanner.

Default green county feed

I have been contemplating scrounging up my abandoned desktop and setting it up out in the garage to provode a feed for green county. Can anyone tell me how involved setting up a feed is? I actually live in rock county but I can pickbup green county without a problem, and they dont have a ton of radio traffic so I could probably have fire ems and police all in one feed.

Any thoughts or suggestions?
