Balcony. I use the typical Radio Shack over the window-lip mounts with a BNC connector for my Car [this way, I can use a specific antenna for the band I am interested in] So I also have a few for travel [hotel etc] that are Suction Mount with the BNC.

Rubber Duckies work well, but then you are in a modified Faraday Cage
