Default Hurricane Hunters?

Does the Hurricane Hunter aircraft check in with ARINC NY? Has anyone heard them? I have heard the NOAA research aircraft.

Thanks,
Bill

It's possible, listen for NOAA42 and 43; those are the Hunters' well-known callsigns. Mike

Sorry to tell you but they switched over to Satcom. If they are in HF region you will hear them checking in with New York Oceanic

As I understand it, the Hunters only use HF when the SATCOM links aren't working, which isn't very often. Sad...I used to like listening into them...Mike
