Looking for some active VHF repeaters in the Orange Beach and surrounding areas. Thanks!

Here is all I know about for Orange Beach. It may not be active anymore you need to check.

KG4WLP -- Orange Beach,AL
Antenna is on a 400 foot water tower.
146.895 Neg Offset and 110.9 Tone

Well I guess your talking about Ham Radio Repeaters... You did not say.

That one has been off the air for some time. Here's 3 in Baldwin County that are pretty active:

147.090 + CSQ
146.820 - 203.5
146.685 - 100.0

Here is a more detailed list plus the DStar Repeaters.

1) KD4HYG --- Bay Minette, AL
145.430 Neg Offset and 123 Tone
Repeater located on a 400 ft tower in Raburn, AL.
North Baldwin County Club Repeater.
Net Tuesday Night 8pm.

2) W4TP --- Bay Minette, AL
444.375 Pos offset and 203.5 Tone
Repeater is currently down.

3) KI4ELU -- Foley, AL
146.685 Neg Offset and 100 Tone

4) K4RAW -- Robertsdale, AL
147.090 Pos Offset and No Tone
South Baldwin County Club Repeater
Net on Monday at 7 pm

The 147.090 and 145.430 Repeaters are currently tied together.

Thanks for posting the info. The links to all those sites would be great but who really wants to waste time programming in a bunch of dead repeaters.

I will be coming down in a couple weeks with my D-Star rig and an Elk dual band LPDA.

I would have thought there would be more active repeaters covering the area.

We dont need more repeaters in the area. In my opinion. The ones we have are quite 80 percent of the time. They get active during a net or a Hurricane rest of the time all u will hear is the id. There is one DStar repeatet in Baldwin County in Magnolia Springs. The DStar Repeater has good coverage.

I tried to connect to the DStar repeater last night with from a Dongle but it kept disconnecting me.
