Anyone in the Shelby County area may want to start monitoring these New 700 MHz Sites for activity.
Any activity found on these New 700 MHz Sites please post any Control Channel or Site Info you find or submit it to RRDb.
I assume these New 700 MHz Sites will be connected to the Alabama First Responder Network soon if not already.
To keep from hijacking the AFRN Thread I am posting this info into a new thread until it’s determined
whether or not these New 700 MHz Sites will be part of AFRN.
Any info or updates please post the info here.
You are welcome to post any new Talk Group info here if it is related to Shelby County or part of the Shelby County Sites
otherwise please post the Talk Group info to the AFRN thread.

Pelham police chief requests P-25 radio system

FYI:
Site Location 04 - Pelham, AL
The New Shelby County-Pelham 700 Site shares a frequency of 770.50625 with the Cherokee County-Weisner Mtn. Site.
The Cherokee County 700 Site has a large footprint so once the new 700 site becomes active it's possible you may hear
traffic on both frequencies/sites if you are in range of both Co.'s 700 Sites.

That translates as: Zone 4, Site 29 on the AFRN (46B)... The Motorola portion. Or you could say Site 4-29.
