700 meg systems
I am in your area and these are the only 700 meg systems that are close enough to
hear 24 hrs. Dale county has 4 sites and only 1 is close enough so that there are no
errors using a SDR and DSDPlus. The other 3 are very weak. Ozark is very weak and
has a lot of errors. They are not encrypted yet. They are P25 I. Later in the night a lot
of 700 meg systems show up until 7-8 am, most are around Mobile. Unless you have
a high outside antenna you wont hear much. I would enter the cc channels as
conventional frequencies and see if the control data can be heard with your antenna.
If it can then enter the freqs into your scanner as a p25 system and see what happens.
