Question Huntsville/Madison County

Can some one please point me toward the DEC for the State Wide EMA? I have searched but just can't find it. I need the AFRN DEC.

Thanks for any help.

We have it in our radios, but I never added it to the scan list till today. I will listen and see if there is anything on it. Most of the time, we carry Southern Linc and I only keep it on talkgroup 21, which is the Huntsville Weather service area. 1 is statewide and has Bham and Mobile weather on there and there is too much traffic during a weather event that is too far away.

453.425 is still up and running in Huntsville but rarely will you hear traffic on it. You could grow a very long beard between transmissions!

Thumbs up DEC

I found that 215 was in my GRE so I programmed it into my Whistler. It did work for the storrms that came through on 22-FEB-2018. It was the normal weather briefing that I used to hear.
