Are the frequencies for Decatur and Quad cities correct in the database? I gave them a try but never heard anything.

It's getting to be very rare to hear them.
With Mdts in vehicles now.
You might go a couple of days with zero traffic.
Seems like a waste of tax dollars to upgrade to repeaters.
With the use of Mdts.
The times are changing John boy .
Soon we are going to have expensive paperweight.
On in my case a 500.00 fm radio.

At the hairdresser's, past the liquor store.
The only decrease in radio traffic that I've detected in the Shoals Area is no more driver license & license plate checks from wreck scenes. Troopers input and upload all that information from vehicle.

In some cases troopers also query traffic stop information from vehicle as well. Contact with Post from a stop more often than not involves suspensions, revocations, etc. & warrants.

I'm still hearing crash dispatches regularly. One thing that irritates me is a digital signal from somewhere busting in on 154.8075 MHz. That's mostly from my residence (Western Colbert County) on an analog scanner connected to an outside pole mounted antenna.

Post location names replacing 'ALEA North' is something else I've noticed.

Yeah, I still hear Decatur on 154.920 Huntsville and 155.445 Decatur daily. I have them both in my car on scan. Not sure why the fella isn't picking them up.
