A few years ago I picked up a Regency DX3000 at a garage sale and use it in my garage. It works very well, but I don't know how to lock out a channel. I know it can be done because a guy told me some time ago how to do it and it worked, but now I can't remember and the guy who told me is no longer with us. The keypad keys other than the numbers are Search High, Search Low, Scan, Manual, Decimal Point and Enter. I seem to recall pressing a combination of buttons. I would imagine its the same as any other Regency of that vintage. Anyone know?

I have had some old regency scanners over the years, however, I have never had this one. I still have MX100 and MX400 units. To lock out a channel you simply punch in the channel number while in scan mode.
01=1 thru 09=9 11,12,etc.

Thank you sirs!

One other question: How do you set the priority channel, or is it just channel 01?
