Alinco DJ-X11 Help

I just purchased an Alinco DJ-X11 for HF Utility monitoring when I’m traveling. I’m having a heck of a time entering frequencies into this to hear anything (something as simple as 11175). Anyone have any suggestions to just do simple frequency entering in USB/SSB, or do I need programming software? Oddly enough there’s no YouTube videos on this topic.

what i do is turn it on and put the freq i want to listen to, press the f to change modes
