Hello,

Im putting a UHF antenna up tomorrow, there will be a tripod with a 10' mast, then the fiberglass antenna... I would like to hang a VHF antenna off of the mast a bit lower, can anyone offer some input as to if and how far apart those antenna should be placed vertically? the VHF antenna is 5' tall. Thanks!

There isn't any magic amount of spacing to avoid interaction within the length of a 10 foot mast. Just separate them as much as you can, and the isolation is what it is.

Sounds like one antenna is VHF and the other is UHF? Vertically isolated is about all you can do with the limited space. Personally I would put up dual band antenna and use a VHF/UHF duplexer. It would save one less run of coax.
