Broadband horse fence antenna?

Has anyone ever heard of or use one of these? They say 50-3.5 MHz. Looks well built but asking a bit of money for I think $80.00

I've seen tests where identical antennas were made of copper, aluminum and stainless steel and the stainless version measured less radiation due to its higher resistance. Using lossy materials can also widen band width.
