Is anyone aware of a setting on the FTM-350 that removes the date/time stamp on data output to the COM port? When I establish a serial connection to my FTM-350 I'm seeing ARPS data in the following format.
K0GEM-9>SX5V3R,WB0HAC,WIDE1*,WIDE2-1 [01/11/11 15:16:49] <UI R>:`z:dqzyj/`"7?}_"
WA0TJT-1>S9PR5R,KC4WCG-3,WB0HAC,WIDE2* [01/11/15 17:16:56] <UI R>:`z?Ml#7j/]"6y}
KD0JWD-1>SXUS4W,KC0BS,WB0HAC,WIDE2* [01/11/15 17:17:00] <UI>:`zO}m>yk/"7E}
For some reason it appears the FTM-350 is inserting a date/time stamp before the UI frame. I think the date/time stamp is confusing the APRS mapping software (APRSPoint) I'm trying to use. I need the line to read:

K0GEM-9>SX5V3R,WB0HAC,WIDE1*,WIDE2-1 <UI R>:`z:dqzyj/`"7?}_"

It would be nice to have my FTM-350 feed APRS packets directly to my APRS mapping software.

Many of the APRS radios, including the FTM-350, deal in Mic-E encoded APRS position reports. I don't think APRSpoint understands Mic-E. In other words, you may have more of a problem than just the timestamp.

You can read about Mic-E in this document.

I suggest you take a look at APRSISCE/32 or YAAC (Yet Another APRS Client). APRSpoint is no longer supported by the author.
