I have Raspberry PI with Raspbian as the OS. I have an older version installed of QSSTV useing apt-get.
It sees the external ( signalink) Usb soundcard but will not communicate with it. No rx or tx.
Sooooo....
I have downloaded the newest version but am stalled at the install as there is no way to "qmake" .

The answers online have been vauge. Any Pi users out there have any hints. Useing windows is not a hint btw.....lol I alteady have that but am playing around.
FLDIGI works fine so that part is good.

cheers all

Just found an apt-get for QT. The one I found earlier was an all day process and basically rewrote the OS so I skipped it and spent hours looking for a better way. Thanks for the answer. Will try tommorow and advise.

Interestingly enough FLDIGI is working so I am checking it out against Digipan.

Installations done. So this is what happens...
At the command line typed in Qsstv.
Newest version 9 splash screen appears then......drum roll
Error code about not being able to determine the gtk theme.
Then the old version of Qsstv starts. Ver 7.

Thoughts any Raspbian users?

Well to close the loop, I got it working.
Installed the new Raspbian, started over and QSSTV installed no problem....
