Default Simple Packet Software

Does anyone know if there is a simple sound card packet software? Preferably something like a terminal. Just type what you want to transmit and what you receive just shows up on your screen.This way I can hook up my 2 meter rig with my computer with just an aux cord.

Try multipsk, it is simple and does a good job, IT IS FREE.
