Yaesu: digital setup on a ftdx-1200

Hello there so i have the yaesu ftdx-1200 with the scu-17 interface unit setup and running on my acer laptop( nice LT plenty of power).
i see a lot of digital stuff and wanted too try it. So can i get the digital signals thru the interface? or do i need some other setup too get audio too the soundcard.

i have hamradio deluxe and fldigi installed i think those will work?
