Kenwood TM271A Problems

Has anyone else had problems with getting Kenwood TM271A to program the PL Tones.

I get them to program until I goto scan and then everything i program gets lost. What am I doing wrong or is this a common problem?

Well, if it is like the th-f6a handheld, you must be in vfo mode to program and store anything, can't go to the freq and just enter a tone. go to vfo mode, freq,tone,tag,etc, then store to a channel and it should stay, also make sure you are in tone mode when tx. hope this helps. scannerdweeb
