Kenwood TM-241A Help

Hello,
I have a Kenwood TM-241A its currently installed in my Vehicle and when it scans it will stop and then keep going even if there is traffic on the frequency. Before it never use to do that. I am wondering what I can do to change that. Thanks

There's a setting that switches between Carrier Operated scan and Time Operated scan. In other words, in Carrier Operated mode, the radio will hold the scan on a channel until the carrier drops. In Time Operated mode, the radio will hold the scan for a fixed length of time, usually 5 seconds.

Look in the manual for the section that talks about scanning. I used to own a TM-241, but that was a long time ago.
