Yaesu: Yaesu FT-5100 got not in programming mode

Have an old FT-5100 dual band rig. To make it back original, i have to activate the band programming mode with key's D/MR + R/W + REV and power up. This does not work. Have seen several MOD's documents, but it is not clear of is not working. Eany idee ?

The battery in the radio could be bad .
Just a thought

Hi. Battery is not dead . Other programming keys's are work. It's just the combination D/MR + R/W + REV to program the (extended) bands are not working. I see it in a few MOD's , but it is not working.
