J-38 Key

I am trying to restore a WWII J-38 Key. I can’t find a replacement rear binding post. Is there a source for reproduction or original parts? I believe it was nickle plated brass. Any help is appreciated.

Well I now know they aren’t 8-32 thread size. 8-32 is too big. My original thumbscrews just slide in without engaging the threads of an 8-32 binding post. Maybe the original size was 6-32? Anyone know?

Checked with somebody who has one, he says they are brass 6-32.
