Default J-38 Key

I am trying to restore a WWII J-38 Key. I canít find a replacement rear binding post. Is there a source for reproduction or original parts? I believe it was nickle plated brass. Any help is appreciated.

Take a look on eBay. Found one for parts, too.

Well I now know they arenít 8-32 thread size. 8-32 is too big. My original thumbscrews just slide in without engaging the threads of an 8-32 binding post. Maybe the original size was 6-32? Anyone know?
