Icom: Icom 2730 / 7100 Programming Question

I just upgraded my license and purchased the IC-7100. I use RT software for my IC-2730 and I know the software is different but will the cable I use for the 2730 also work on the 7100?

I assume you are also using the RT Systems USB-29 cable for your 2730. The RT Systems website shows a completely different cable for the IC-7100, so my guess is no, you can't use the IC-2730 cable for the 7100.


The best way to find out, however, is to contact RT Systems directly. They usually respond fairly quickly to inquiries.

OK. RT Systems sez with a Stereo to Mono adapter the IC-2730 cable will work with a IC-7100.
