We've received reports that the following frequencies are being used for emergency traffic in Japan 3.525, 7.030, 7.043, 7.075 MHz

SATERN emergency net operations for tsunami are currently operating on 14265 KHz

Oregon ARES/RACES emergency net is operating on 3964 KHz

I want to know if Yaesu even exists anymore. They are in Fukushima where the destroyed nuclear plant is. I e-mailed Yaesu USA & asked, but they thanked me for my good wishes, & didn't say any more. Hope they are still around. GARY N4KVE
