Bring yourself a friend or family to see what we are all about.
This special event will be a activation of the White River Light station located in Whitehall , MI.
This event helps us to train in Emergency deployment communications in a portable situation off the main power grids normally provided by our community energy services.
Back-up communications when others would fail in a disaster related event , like cell phones ,commercial broadcast radio and local TV stations.

We would like to thank the White River Light Station Museum and Fruitland Township for allowing us to take part in this event to make contact with other stations nationwide and worldwide in the interests of historical Lighthouses and Amateur radio worldwide.
Our goal as operators is to make as many radio contacts to as many station as possible with the interest of the historical existance of our beautiful Light Station in Whitehall , Michigan.
