My amateur radio call is N9UYC. When scanning the 2 meter band I hear what sounds like a repeater with courtesy tone at 145.22 - offset but only Spanish speaking operators. I scan the pl tone and it shows a tone of 88.5 being used. The frequency is received full quieting at my home QTH but I cannot get into the repeater. Nor can I find that repeater freq. close by in any directories. Have you had other hams reporting the same thing?

There is no amateur radio repeater in Hendricks County coordinated by the Indiana Repeater Council on 145.220 MHz.

It's an Echolink node: KC9PFT-L, node # 525038, usually the -L suffix is indicative of simplex operation.

Contact the node owner for instructions on its use.

Thanks for the info. I did catch the call in English this morning. Sounded like a recorded ID message...JR
