Sadly it doesn't decode AMBE+2C as used in the popular Zastone ZT-9908

Hey that's nothing! People pay obscene amounts of $$$ for their questionable receivers that are plagued by issues...

Hi Nigel, I know this is an old post but I am reading up as much as I can find about these radios as I have just purchased one with the hope of using it with the experimental dpmr on my DV4Mini dongle, while trawling through the very strange program settings in the software it seems mine has a choice of three vocoders AMBE+2C ASELP and ASELP 2 which is a bonus to the last dpmr radio I purchased which used a strange vocoder not used in any other radio by the looks of it, I still have not heard a single person on it in digital mode but it wooks good as a UHF FM analog both 70cm and 446 so not a total loss lets hope the Zastone is better fingers crossed.
