AR8600 mk2 programming

I have a AR 8600 mk2. I have a USB to db9 cable and the latest Butel Software. Laptop with windows 10. Can't get them to comminucate. Can someone point me in the right direction.

Did you device manager recognise your driver and USB dongle?

It shows a USB device. I'm thinking that this is the problem. The one I have is old. I'm going to buy a new one that I know works with windows 10. Do you have a 8600mk2 ? I like the radio

It should be shown as a COM device.
I had one by past. Yes it was a lovely radio.
I have now a DV1. This changes my life!
I'm pushing my dealer to developpe a smoother and more ergonomic software for this DV1.
Is your MK2 celullar bloked?

I went to Best Buy this morning and picked up a USB to db9 that is windows 10 compatible. It works like a champ. It's not blocked. But the cellular stuff is digital so I don't think the 8600 will pick anything up?
