Hi I've just bought a aor dv1 receiver so I can listen to digital
Has anyone who owns got any tips for setting up scanner for dmr
And can you receive shopwatch thanks for any help

I've found that in order to scan DMR channels with the most efficiency, I program my DMR channels in either one or more scan banks and try to segregate them as much as possible from my analog channels. It's also a good idea to to get program each channel as DMR as opposed to "Auto". Although you can scan DMR specific channels with the squelch set to zero, you can effectively increase your scan rate by moving the squelch up to a level where the scan speed increases without losing the ability to stop on a busy channel.

Bottom line is that you have to do a bit of experimentation with the unit to find your operational comfort level.

I found that for each digital mode, it will miss the first channel as it scans. So I enter the first channel twice and group all the modes together.
