AOR 8000 motor-boating

Hi all,

Have a AOR-8000 that was working great. Now it will come upon certain frequencies and start "motor-boating" . rapid audio chirping like the batteries are about spent but they have been replaced and are doing the same thing whenever the squelch is open by a signal. Anyone have this happen and know what the fix is or what is going on?

Did you try doing a full reset on the radio?
