Default AR 3000A

Hi everyone I was wondering if anyone can help me. I got my receiver out f mothballs last night and it worked perfectly . I have switched it on again this morning and nothing. Internal fuse ok. Is there any where I can get it repaired it sounds like there is something loose inside , to my knowledge it has never been dropped since I got it.

Default 3000A

There is a reasonable chance it is the backup battery.

Do a Google search about it. You should also look for information on the RESET button. To get to it you need to remove the top cover, and remember the loudspeaker wires are attached.

There was more than one revision of the AR3000A boards, so I cannot pinpoint where the switch is on yours, but it is all documented on the Net if you look.

If it is the battery, resetting will bring the Radio back to life as a temporary measure, then the battery will need to be replaced. At least you will know if that is all that needs doing.
