"Castle Fire", Carefree Highway, Morristown

Circle City-Morristown FD has a brush fire, named the "Castle Fire", along Carefree Highway between mileposts 2 and 4.
Carefree Highway is shut down between Grand Ave (US 60) and at least milepost 7 in both directions.

Eastbound Carefree Highway closed at Castle Hot Springs Rd, milepost 1.2. However, only local traffic is allowed eastbound from Grand/US 60.
Westbound closed at milepost 7, which should be 211th Ave.

They've decided that Air Attack will remain overhead, however no other air assests are being requested at this time.

Within the past hour, CC-MFD has released all but a tender and a brush truck. The state and BLM have handcrews operating on scene. Most Phoenix RDC units have also been released. Brush 56 and Tender 104 may still be on scene, according to the CAD.

ADOT, on TG 1102, has reopened Carefree Highway, I believe in both directions. At least eastbound is open.

It's still breezy, but the winds seem to have died down significantly compared to what they were earlier.

I dont think I'll be adding anymore to this unless there is a significant change for the worse.
