There were UHF Frequencies identified as Metro South & Metro North. Somewhere along the way they got deleted from my programing. Any Idea if they will be moving the traffic to these frequencies.

I've lost track, where is District 15. If the new central south district is #18 then where is District 16 and 17? The highest district number is 14 on their website so 15-17 is not identified on the website. Am I missing something here?
Kendrick,

Nope not missing anything, they just flat out said 15 16 17 aren't worth it so we're gonna use 18 instead lol. They skipped over them unknown why.. 18 is so brand new they prolly haven't had time to update the website is all.

Richard,

For now they are combining ME and MS on the east freq. I don't believe those designations even exist anymore.

Default Found them

I dug deep into the hard drive and found these;

Metro South = 460.16250 (No PL/DPL noted)
Metro North = 460.18750 (No PL/DPL noted)

Again, I'm not sure where I originally found these but thatís what I have.

Dist 15 and 16 are the commercial vehicle enforcement bureaus. Dist 17 doesn't exist.

Thanks! I figured it was something like that, but I was thinking it was CID related. I just moved back here after living in some other states during my career. I have some catching up to do. When I left in the 70's DPS was on VHF High and a lot of counties were on VHF Low. 39.180 was the default state law enforcement frequency, at least in rural areas. Coconino County had that frequency and 39.220. Just a few things have changed since!

So DPS has commercial enforcement bureaus that are different from the Motor Vehicle Department's enforcement organization?

Yes. 1500 are reserve troopers and 1600 are full time troopers doing commercial vehicle enforcement.

ADOT took commercial vehicle enforcement out of the Motor Vehicle Division, and put them in their own division, the Enforcement and Compliance Divison. ADOT has a YouTube video about them, too.

That is incorrect. 1500 and 1600 units are full time CVEB troopers. Reserve troopers are "Robert" units. Dist 15 and 16 encompass northern/southern CVEB bureaus.

Thanks. The info I had was from the 10th edition of the Southwest Frequency Directory, which came out in 2009. The last issue of the directory.
Either their info was wrong, or it has changed in the past 7 years.

Default ADOT

Anyone have any info as to how ADOT Enforcement designates themselves? ( I have heard 2B44) on the YRCS ADOT Enforcement.

I've been wondering about ADOT Enforcement officer callsigns as well.

In addition to the 2B44 style (1 number, 1 letter, 2 numbers) I've also heard some using a 2 digit prefix, along the lines of 22B44, for example.

I don't know the rhyme or reason to their callsign assignments.

My first guess is narcotics investigations. That may or may not be what they actually are, of course.

I think they are somehow related to the Zebra units. I almost never hear them on the highway in the area, but usually on the side streets of Kingman, and in Butler. I've also been hearing units with the letter F (EX: 1xx Frank) after their call signs also, unsure of what that is.
