Since my phone only shows a mostly blank page, would you mind quoting a few pertinent sections?

Edit: I read it wrong, several PL tones become DCS, but it appears the channel frequencies remain the same. Anyway, my phone doesn't do PDF's, so I'll have to look at them another time when I have access to a real computer. Thanks.

Phoenix PD or Phoenix FD? They're both encrypted. 1759 I'm told is D-8 Medical Hailing. I've heard 1763, 1764 & 1767, all encrypted. AFAIK, 2951-2936 is PD D-1 through D-16, all encrypted.

It's July 7th, and I haven't seen the change over from CTCSS to DCS yet. Have they gone to NFM yet, or is it still FM? I haven't noticed a difference there, either.

Ch 3 has changed from the CTCSS of 173.8 to a DCS of 516. I haven't seen any other CTCSS to DCS switchovers as of yet.

Hey guys, silly question here from an admitted scanning novice...

What does this mean as far as my scanner is concerned? When I hear a dispatch with traffic on AN9, should I tune to the same frequency as usual (Channel A9)? Or do I need to update to a new list of frequencies? The PDF above seems to indicate that all the frequencies are the same as usual, if Im reading it correctly. Whats the difference between A6 and AN6? What does this switchover really mean for my scanning ability?

Thanks guys! Appreciate it!

No the AN channels are the new narrowbanded channels that Phx is moving in so far A2-A11 are all narrowbanded. You will need to add the new narrowband channels. Some of the Freq stayed the same but instead of PL tones they are DCS if you would like the new freq. PM me.

Im not a fan of the narrowband change so far. Seems we are having audio quality issues in haz zones/firegrounds with the changes.

Channels 1 to 11 are now active with the new dpl tones. Ch's 1 2 4 10 and 11 are remaining PL due to future simulating of Channel1 and Channel2 Channels 10/11 are already stimulating in Scottsdale. Effective Wednesday morning Channel 14 will change to AN12 and Channel 12 will change to AN14, both with new DPL. On Thursday A13 becomes AN13 and that will complete all of the channels. Several new transmit and receive sites are also under construction to offset the effects of narrowbanding and should be online by end off year
