Default Scottsdale P.D.

I need help locating additional freq's to listen to Scottsdale P.D. What I can hear is dispatcher NORTH and SOUTH on two separate frequencies. Am i missing something? Are these 2 dispatchers all that the City of Scottsdale has? i'd like to hear more. If anyone knows what im talking about and can answer this, please let me know

You have looked at the talkgroups (TG's) for Scottsdale PD in the database, correct?

There are 2 main dispatch TG's, PD 1 and PD 2. Except for 2 possible future use dispatch TG's, PD 3 and PD 4, there are 9 other TG's in the clear. Everything else is encrypted.

There are currently only 2 regular dispatch channels for Scottsdale. They will frequently move emergency traffic to channel A16 (encrypted).

They have numerous encrypted channels for info/record checks, car-to-car, SAU, HEAT, Narcotics, etc.

Make sure you have all of the unencrypted talkgroups in your scan list. However, unencrypted talkgroups other than A1 South "PD1" and A2 North "PD2" are rarely used.
