I'm in Phoenix on vacation and trying to get my Mother's scanner programmed with Phoenix PD ppd-900a and ppd-900b ( should be the channels for the precinct for the area) ...I have programmed RWC Simulcast G put in as I think that is correct for the Area of N35th and the 101 but no activity is received parked on 900a and the squelch wide open ( full CCW).

I'm here until the 29th. I have teamviewer installed if needed.

Any help would be appreciated.

UPDATE: I got it figured out had to set site to Simulcast A

35 and 101 is either in, or very close to, the 200 area. I'm near I-17 and Greenway, and I hear units in my area from 900 and 200.

Make a separate list for FD and the FD trunked calls use Site B.

I need a little more help...I cannot receive any of the phoenix fire digital channels like "K6" etc. I have them in a separate scanlist from the analog fire and I have site A and site B programed in.

Any Ideas?

Your software may resemble the attached screen grabs.

If so:

Carefully compare your EZScan settings with those shown in the attachments.

Record any original settings you change so you can go back if desired.
