Just FYI, the Heritage Flight did the anthem flyover at the Super Bowl in Minneapolis. Here are the frequencies that they used:

122.4750
148.5875
279.5750
405.3250

And yes, the 405 MHz frequency is correct. Spotters on the ground used it, and were heard using the call sign DRAGO (dray-go}.

More on what I heard can be found in the March issue of The Spectrum Monitor magazine...

Fantastic!

Thanks Chris. I will give a listen to these. I will be on the flight line in front of Base Ops :)

They have a historical set of frequencies that they use at the Heritage Conference, so I will be checking those out on the Friday runs.

If you are a DoD ID Cardholder you will have access to the flightline to get up close to the participating aircraft and aircrew. Access is via Base Ops.

The training normally starts at 9am.

I'm pretty sure someone else besides me is going :)

Love the 405.325 slightly out of band...

FLANO,

Can you post the historical set of frequencies? I'm going to try and give a listen this year on Whistler 1098.

Many thanks,

Garrett

This should get you in the ball park. Please let us know if you find anything additional.

Normally, I would put effort into the Base TRS, but it seems that many of the TGs are going encrypted. So, I will spend little energy there. But please post TGs too if you find any of interest.

Historical Frequencies since 2010:

118.50 - Air Boss

134.675 Heritage Primary A/A

officially released to him.
A-10 Demo include large, fiery ordinance detonated to simulate air attack.
